What is the Sandhills Community College Foundation?
Founded in 1969, the Sandhills Community College Foundation, Inc. is a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation whose purpose is to promote the mission of Sandhills Community College in the community and seek financial support from the community. The Foundation ensures that donated funds are invested wisely and disbursed in ways that contribute to the ongoing excellence of Sandhills Community College. The SCC Foundation was the first community college foundation in North Carolina.

What is the Composition of the Foundation?
The Foundation is comprised of a volunteer Board of Directors made up of representatives from the college’s board of trustees and people from the community. The work of the board is accomplished through a number of standing and special committees. Staff support for the work of the SCC Foundation is provided by the SCC Development Office.

| Tiffany Ring, 2003 graduate of the Sandhills radiology department, works in the Imaging Services Department at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst. She performs ultrasounds on patients at every stage of life.
