Grief Resource and Counseling Center will be hosting a number of educational
support programs in Spring 2005. All programs are free of charge and open
to
anyone
in the community.
How Children and Teens Cope with Loss 6 - 7:30 p.m. Tuesday,
March 15
An informational meeting for adults interested in learning about how grief and
loss affect young people.
Registration required by March 10.
Teens and Loss 3:30 - 4:30 p.m. Wednesdays,
March 16 - 30
A support group designed just for teenagers 12-17 who are dealing with grief
and loss.
Registration required by March 10.
Never Look at the Stars and Yawn 3:30 - 4:30 p.m. Tuesdays,
April 5 - May 10
A group for children ages 9-12 who have experienced the death of someone
special. Maximum of six children.
Registration required by March 25.
Camp Lost & Found To be held early summer
Annual summer camp for children and teens ages 5-17 who have experienced
loss through death. Designed to help participants learn about grief and loss
in
