- Approved Placement Tests
Sandhills Community College uses the ACCUPLACER® course placement exam for placement into English and mathematics courses or any courses with and English or mathematics course prerequisite or corequisite. The College also accepts scores from the following placement tests: ASSET®, COMPASS®, SAT®, and ACT®. Please use the following link the view acceptable course placement scores required for exemptions from developmental English and mathematics courses.

- Advisee Report
Faculty, click the "Advisee Report" link above to read instructions for printing or saving your Datatel report of current advisees in a text format.
- Class Roster
Faculty, click the "Class Roster" link above to read instructions for printing or saving your Datatel class roster in a text format.
- Drop/Add/Withdrawal Report
Faculty, click the "Drop/Add/Withdrawal Report" link above to read instructions for printing or saving the Datatel report of drops, adds, or withdrawals from your course in a text format.
- Early Alert
Instructors, click the "Early Alert" link to save or print the Academic Progress form. Complete the printed and send it to the Advising Center via campus mail. The Early Alert form is used to inform students of their academic status, while allowing them adequate time to make a decision before the drop period ends.
- Registration Restriction Codes
Advisors, click the "Restriction Codes" link to view the restriction codes that may appear when registering a student. The table lists the code, an explanation, and contact information to remove the code so that your advisee may register. If you want to open this page in a new window for printing, right click the link and then set your page margins to 3/4 inch (File > Page Setup > Margins > 0.75 > OK).

Basic Computer Skills and Oral Communication Transfer Requirements
- Applied Science Programs
This site lists the degree requirements for all Associate in Applied Science Degrees. This site also lists the admission requirements for each program, including placement alternatives for certain programs.
- Electives/Other Required Hours
This site lists all courses approved for transfer to the UNC System as electives or other required hours through the Associate in Arts, Associate in Fine Arts, and Associate in Science degrees.
- General Education Courses
This site lists all general education courses approved for transfer to the UNC System through the Associate in Arts, Associate in Fine Arts, and Associate in Science degrees. This site also lists all courses that will satisfy the general education requirement in communication, humanities/fine arts, social/behavioral sciences, and natural sciences for all Associate in Applied Science degree programs and for the Associate in General Education degree program.

This site lists the degree requirements for the Associate in Arts, Associate in Fine Arts, and Associate in Science degree programs and links to other information about transfer to a university.

This site lists the degree requirements for the Associate in General Education degree program and for the Associate in Applied Science in General Occupational Technology degree program.
- Basic Computer Skills
Students who transfer credit for ENG 111 from another college must demonstrate competency in basic computer skills before receiving an A.A., A.A.S., or A.S. degree. Students can demonstrate this competency by taking CIS 110, CIS 111, ENG 112, or ENG 114 at SCC; by appropriate work experience; or by credit by exam through the English and Humanities Department.
- Oral Communication
Students who transfer credit for ENG 112 or 114 from another college must demonstrate competency in oral communication skills before receiving an A.A., A.A.S., or A.S. degree. Students can demonstrate this competency by taking COM 110 or COM 231 at SCC, by taking ENG 115 at another North Carolina community college, by appropriate work experience, or by credit by exam through the English and Humanities Department.
