It has been said that "teaching is making someone realize what they
already know." If you are a licensed Cosmetologist and you have a
passion for helping other people, you should consider becoming a
licensed Cosmetology instructor.
The NC
State Board of Cosmetology requires 800 clock hours of education. In
this curriculum you will be introduced to constructing lesson plans,
handling difficult students, teaching students with different learning
styles, classroom organization, maintaining student files and many
other selected topics. You will be required to "practice" teach a
variety of subjects as well as present new material and demonstrate
techniques. After completing the program, you will be able to apply for
the licensing exam and upon completion, become a licensed Manicurist.
