Automotive technology is a challenging, high-paying career field, which has evolved into a high tech industry.  It now requires advanced education to work in automotives, and Sandhills Community College is an excellent place to begin your training. 

The Automotive Systems Technology Program at Sandhills provides students with current technology and comprehensive training in automotive technology.  All aspects of automotive technology are taught by combining classroom instruction with hands-on application.

Students may choose to pursue a certificate or diploma option, or they may opt to obtain a more advanced associate degree.  Both program options will have the opportunity to prepare for the ASE exam, which will make them more attractive to prospective employers and increase their employment opportunities upon graduation.
