30 Hour Nurse Aide Refresher Course
For Re-listing on the North Carolina Nurse Aide Registry
or Initial Listing on the NC NAR, if you have moved here from another state.
Prerequisite: Active Registry must have been within 24 months of the class beginning date for NC residents. For individuals listed on another state's Nurse Aide Registry, registration must be current.
Individuals listed on another state's Nurse Aide Registry with substantial findings of resident abuse, resident neglect, or misappropriation of resident property in a nursing home, may not be employed as nurse aides in NC nursing facilities.

Each class is limited to 6 students. |

You may register by coming to first first floor of Van Dusen Hall, Monday - Thursday, 9:00 am - 9:00 pm, Friday, 9:00 am - 2:00 pm, and paying with cash or check. |

You may phone-in registration with credit card at 910-695-3766. |

Bring your SOCIAL SECURITY CARD AND PHOTO ID THE FIRST Class Session. The names on both cards must match your listing on the Nurse Aide Registry or you must bring documentation supporting the change in name. A match is First, Middle, and Last Name. Copies will be made for the state and our file at SCC. |

If you are out of state-bring a copy of your current Nurse Aide Registration. |
