2010 EMS Fire Seminar

Sandhills Community College offers training for volunteer and professional fire fighters and rescue personnel at departments in Moore and Hoke Counties.

Training & Certification
Training consists of in-service training as well as proving state certification through the Office of the State Fire Marshal in North Carolina. Examples of classes are: live burn training, arson detection, and hazardous materials classes. We also offer certification programs. All instructors are certified through the state of North Carolina, most hold professional or volunteer status with vast experience in fire and rescue.

Emergency Services Seminar
In conjunction with the Sandhills Emergency Service Seminar Organization, a weekend event is held every January. This offers 25 or more emergency services classes for fire and rescue personnel throughout the state.
