Dedman Center for Business Leadership

Designed to prepare individuals to become effective leaders in their respective businesses or organizations, the Dedman Center for Business Leadership offers an annual 48-hour program, The Dedman Institute for Business Leadership.

The institute is facilitated by a leading-edge expert and explores a variety of leadership topics using powerful and popular texts and materials. Taking place over four-months, participants are given a well-rounded look at the elements of leadership in corporate and institutional settings, including academia.

So far over 200 participants have been awarded the prestigious recognition of  Dedman Leadership Fellow from the Sandhills Community College Division of Continuing Education.

Participation in the program is made possible through scholarships underwritten by the Robert Dedman Permanent Endowment to Benefit Sandhills Community College, an endowment created by the late Robert H. Dedman to support programs at Sandhills.

Each year’s institute begins in January. Please send an email to the address below if you are interested in receiving information about the Dedman Institute for Business Leadership.
