Dedman Center for Business Leadership
Designed to prepare individuals to become effective leaders in their respective businesses or organizations, The Dedman Center for Business Leadership offers an annual 48-hour program, The Dedman Institute for Business Leadership.
The institute explores a variety of leadership topics using powerful and popular leadership texts and materials. Taking place over a four-month period, participants are given a well-rounded look at the elements of leadership in corporate and institutional settings, including acedemia.
Those completing the program are awarded the Dedman Fellow in Leadership from the Sandhills Community College Division of Continuing Education.
Participation in the program is made possible through scholarships underwritten by the Robert Dedman Permanent Endowment to Benefit Sandhills Community College, an endowment created by the late Robert H. Dedman to support programs at Sandhills.
This year’s institute begins on January 30, 2018 and marks our twelfth annual program. The institute is full for this year, but we are taking names for our 2019 program. Please send an email to the address below if you are interested in receiving information about our 2019 Dedman Institute for Business Leadership.
