Adult High School
The Sandhills Community College Adult High School (AHS) program is offered at the Sandhills Hoke Center. AHS provides academic courses to students working toward completing their high school diploma.
Classes are offered in a lab setting and provide course work in English, mathematics, social studies, science, and electives. Students are placed in courses based on previous high school transcripts and assessment scores.
There are no tuition fees; however, students will be required to purchase personal supplies.
Required Forms
An official sealed transcript from the last high school attended is required in order to be considered for this program.
Minors 16 or 17 years of age must submit additional forms and have an interview before acceptance into the program.
Graduation Requirements
20 high school units for ages 18 and older
28 high school units for ages 16 -17
Successful completion of the NC Competency Test (if required) or equivalent

General Science
US History
Civics (Government & Economics)
Geography
Health & P.E.
Computer Literacy (if required)
Electives: 6 units (ages 18+), 14 units (ages 16-17)
