Professor Baker earned a Master of Art and Art Education from Appalachian State University. While sharing her excitement for art as a Professor of Visual Arts at Sandhills Community College, she is also a working artist who exhibits her "found object" collages and prints throughout North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia. Additionally, she is a passionate and enthusiastic supporter of many North Carolina Art and Education Associations.
