2) Apply to Sandhills

Complete free online admission application. You must complete your online residency interview before your application will be submitted

3) Submit your transcripts

Request official copies from all previous schools attended (high school, high school equivalency, and college transcripts) Official transcripts must be submitted via fax, email, or in a sealed envelope sent directly from the issuing school to SCC.

4) Apply for financial assistance

Complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to determine your eligibility for financial aid.

Apply for scholarships

If you are interested in applying for a Sandhills Scholarship, to include the Sandhills Promise, you will need to complete our scholarship application.

6) Attend orientation & register for classes

Once you have taken the placement test or been deemed exempt, you are required to attend an orientation where you will register for classes.  In addition to registering, you will learn about the college, hear from financial aid representatives, meet your instructors, and discover campus resources.

7) Pay for your classes?

The cost of attending classes at Sandhills is still one of the best values in education. The North Carolina General Assembly sets tuition rates for in-state and out-of-state residents.
