Sandhills Hoke Center

The Sandhills Hoke Center is located in Raeford, N.C. on 10-acres of land donated to the College by Wyatt and Mary Upchurch.  

Groundbreaking for the first building, Upchurch Hall, was on March 27, 2000. Completed in October of 2001, the building is approximately 10,000 square feet.  Johnson Hall was completed in December of 2007 and a new 14,000 square feet building is under construction with and anticipated completion date of  mid to late 2010. It will house nine classrooms, a chemistry/science lab, a dining/multi-purpose room, and five offices. There are several mobile facilities at the Hoke Center.

Curriculum (college-credit) and Continuing Education courses are taught at the Hoke Center. A list of classes is published prior to each semester.

Curriculum programs that offer classes at the Hoke Center are Criminal Justice, Early Childhood Education, Nursing Assistant, and Basic Law Enforcement Training.

Continuing Education classes such as Basic Skills and Human Resources Development are taught at the Sandhills Hoke Center.

SandHoke Early College High School students take classes at the Sandhills Hoke Center.

Driving Directions

The Sandhills Hoke Center is located on East Central Avenue, which is 401 Business.

From downtown Raeford on 211 Business, turn on Central Avenue/401 Business and the Center is on the right past the House of Raeford plant.

From Fayetteville Road/401 Bypass, take 401 Business and the Hoke Center is on the left.
